If you had asked me a year ago who my hero is, I would have said my dad – every time. Today, it’s Bernadette. Without a doubt. Probably being the person in the world with the greatest fear of dentists, I have been a study in patience for the clinic. But Bernadette carried me through by being attentive from the start and taking the time it required, while reassuring me that everything was fine. Now, nine months later, happier than ever with a Hollywood smile, I can say with certainty that she delivered more than she promised. I was diagnosed with periodontitis and decided to have all my teeth removed, which was done very professionally and completely pain-free. I went through a three-month healing process and then had two implants placed in the lower jaw, after which I waited another three months for healing. Finally, I received my completed full denture.
The staff was very professional, and you truly feel welcome at the clinic. It is also possible to rent an apartment through the clinic. The apartments are on the same floor, right next to the clinic.
I can highly recommend contacting Andersen Dental Clinic in Budapest – very high quality – I saved over 50,000 DKK – you will not regret it.
A truly fantastic experience. The entire team was professional, friendly and highly skilled. We also needed help with something unrelated to our dental treatment, and everyone went above and beyond to assist us. The reception team, dentists, patient coordinators and especially the gentleman who manages the apartment accommodation were all incredibly kind and helpful. The entire reception and straightforward approach made me dare to sit in the chair. Not only have I saved a lot of money, but I can also smile again without feeling embarrassed. Great experience
Due to a long period of depression, work-related stress, and medication, my teeth had suffered significant damage. I had a few broken teeth and damage to almost all of my teeth.
I was very self-conscious about my smile and felt trapped in a vicious cycle where I couldn’t really escape the depression because of my smile, which I always tried to hide and which is the first thing people notice when meeting someone new.
I expected that fixing my teeth would be extensive and very expensive, especially if it had been done in Denmark. I had heard of acquaintances saving a lot by having dental work done abroad. So, I searched widely on Google for dental trips to Poland, Greece, Turkey, etc., but most had quite negative reviews. That was the main reason I eagerly went to the preliminary consultation in Aarhus, based on Andersen Dental Clinic’s good reviews.
I had actually expected that almost all my teeth would be so damaged that I would have to lose nearly all of them. But Bernadette was amazing. Calmly and professionally, she examined my teeth and made a plan to preserve almost all my natural teeth, seeing that I had strong roots and good jaw muscle structure.
A detailed plan was made outlining the cost, the number of workdays, and how many visits would be required in Budapest. After the preliminary consultation, I accepted their offer and decided to use their clinic in Hungary.
Throughout the entire process, I have felt very safe. The week before traveling, David and Andreas ensured I received all the information I needed, from the driver picking me up at the airport and taking me to my apartment, to dental appointments and other practical details. Any questions were answered immediately via email or messages. They deserve huge praise and thanks for that.
It was wonderful to just relax, lean back, and treat it like a vacation. Budapest is a beautiful city, full of life and experiences, whether traveling alone or with a partner. The clinic is centrally located, and if you rent through their provider, you get excellent apartments either in the same building or just a five-minute walk from the clinic. I visited three times, with 3–4 months between each visit.
First, I had some canines extracted, then waited three months for healing before implants could be placed, which also needed time to settle in the jaw, before finally returning to have my crowns and bridges done.
I now have a beautiful, full smile, and I feel energized and happy. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent service and have only praise for Bernadette, David, Andreas, the wonderful receptionists who always greet you with happy smiles, and the rest of the team.
One word sums it up: professionalism
After two great experiences, I completed my dental treatment with Dr. Agnes Holman. A good and empathetic treatment with a result that I can only be extremely satisfied with. Thanks to Agnes and the skilled team at the clinic. A very reasonable price with huge savings compared to Danish prices. My highest recommendations from me.

My husband and I recently visited Andersen Dental Clinic in Budapest and had our first treatments.
We both have quite a bit of work to do, but we are already looking forward to our second visit. We have felt completely at ease the entire time, well taken care of, and truly in very competent hands. Both Bernadette and Agnes (our two dentists at Andersen Dental Clinic) are incredibly skilled at their work.
And on top of that, we are saving thousands of kroner compared to getting the same work done in Denmark :-)
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish 🤩 I spoke several times with the office staff, who speak Danish, and Andreas/David were always ready with helpful answers and reassuring support. They arranged an apartment in the same building and floor as the clinic, making everything incredibly easy, right in the city center and close to LIDL.
A few days before our arrival, the driver contacted us with directions from the airport, and he was there when we landed 👌 We were driven to the building where both the clinic and apartment were located. The next day, we met the dentist for treatment – a wonderfully kind and skilled dentist. We spoke in English, but whenever there were language challenges, David was called in and made everything clear and understandable for us.
I was/ am IMPRESSED 🤩 The treatment took place over 11 days, as I had quite a lot done, whereas other Danes I spoke with were there for 3–5 days.
I was extremely happy with the receptionists, office staff, and the dentist. Today, I can SMILE BIG and say a HUGE thank you. I’m looking forward to coming back; next time it’s my husband’s turn.
There is nothing to worry about. It was the best decision once I stopped hesitating and said YES 👍🏻👌😁 Do like I did, check it out, take the plunge – you WILL NOT regret it.
We went to Budapest – father, daughter, and stepmother. The parents had their teeth checked and each had a cleaning. The daughter had an implant, four crowns, a bridge, and two composite fillings. A major procedure for a young woman with dental anxiety. The work was carried out with great care and a very professional approach by a Danish-speaking dentist. Wow! The fear is gone, and the joy is immense. The new teeth have appeared in many photos with friends and family. The bill was less than 50% of the price in Denmark.
